This is the place designed for Saigon's creatives. Saigon Outcast - A place for social life, relaxation, and learning.
Early in 2012, glassy-eyed entrepreneurs Linh and Ha stacked 3 retro fitted shipping containers in an empty lot in D2, HCMC.
Although it was not much to look at then, the risky venture paid off and now Saigon Outcast has become one of the most important cultural spaces in Saigon.
Today, walking through the I-beam Torii gate and across the manicured Zen garden, brings you to those same containers, now, office space and an alternative skate-and-paint shop. Surrounded by graffitied walls painted by top local and international artists, Saigon Outcast encourages creative expression in all shapes and forms.
As host to international musicans, local theatre, skateboarding, BMX, and even rock climbing, Saigon Outcast continues to scrape out a space for all with BBQ’s, market’s, charitable events, and open mic’s. Open Tuesday to Sunday as cafe/bar and nightly venue offering workshops, outdoor cinema and weekly events like life-drawing and family friendly sundays including kids cinema and live music.
Welcome to the place, where you come to be you.
